We’re hiring a Key Account Manager to own and grow our most strategic customer relationships:  Fortune 500s, global battery players, and leading automotive OEMs. This isn’t about maintaining a portfolio, it’s about building and developing long-term partnerships.

You’ll be the face of our company to major clients, leading conversations that shape the future of electrification and recycling. If you’ve sold into complex enterprise environments, navigated RFPs and procurement mazes, and built trust with C-level leaders, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Your responsibilities:

  • Acquire and grow high-value accounts with some of the biggest names in automotive and battery production

  • Develop tailored account strategies that align with each customer’s sustainability and innovation goals

  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders

  • Win deals through deep knowledge of procurement processes and commodity selling

  • Work cross-functionally with our technical, legal, and operations teams to deliver excellence

  • Represent tozero at client meetings, industry events, and executive briefings

  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities inside your accounts, you’ll drive revenue, not just maintain it

Your profile

What you need to succeed:

  • 6–15 years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in cleantech, automotive, batteries, or industrial manufacturing

  • A proven track record managing large corporate accounts and closing complex deals

  • First-hand experience with corporate RFPs, buying committees, and long-cycle procurement

  • Started as a sales hunter (Greenfield outreach, cold calls), evolved into a strategic farmer (long-term partner)

  • Business fluent in English; German is a plus

  • Background in chemistry or engineering is a big bonus

  • You’re not just great with clients — you’re driven by purpose, ownership, and results
